  A couple of weeks went by and we still hadn't received our official quote, so I emailed him to request it and to lock down a date for the work to be done. No response. My husband called the following week, and his assistant informed us that Don was quite busy but she would give him the message. Don then texted my husband and asked for the email address again "because he thinks he wrote it down wrong"... (even though we had been corresponding through email already and I had emailed him the previous week) So my husband gave HIS email. Another week went by, and no response. We tried calling several more times, and texted him as well.

  My husband and I had contacted Charmac and set up an appointment to get a quote for an old barn we needed removed from our property. We got in touch with Don MacFarlane, who I believe is one of the owners of the company. He came out to take a look on Sept 12, 2017 and gave us a verbal estimate. He told us he would send an official quote through email and we could set up a date to have the work done then. He warned us ahead of time that he was busy with other projects and that he would be free mid - end of October, which actually suited us just fine.

  It is now the end of October, and this guy has basically ghosted on us. He seemed really on the ball when we first met him and he gave us a great price, but there has been absolutely no commitment or follow through from him. I find his lack of correspondence very unprofessional. I appreciate the fact that he is busy with other projects, but a 5-minute email or call to let us know he changed his mind and can't do the work would have been appreciated... or better yet, just don't make commitments you don't intend on keeping. I would never recommend this company to anyone. Very disappointed.
