While admittedly slightly intimidating when you first arrive, Molly's is everything and more when looking for a whimsical environment to immerse oneself in a book, or in quiet study. The eccentricity of Molly's persona only adds to the charm and appeal of this quaint establishment. As far as I am concerned, the poor ratings are complete rubbish--her food is prepared with care and conscientiousness and is delicious (seriously--I had a cheddar toast melt that was the perfect snack) and honestly, the ability to spend an afternoon sipping on an endless variety of tea's whilst perusing a literary collection that would make any bookworm/history aficionado green with envy is more than enough to merit a generous rating. As far as I am concerned, everyone else on this page seems to be missing out.

I may go back there. Because I really can't believe this beautiful place is ruined by the owner. This could be the trendy spot in downtown.

I can go on and go on. But I don't know how this place is still running. She didn't let us to choose where we wanna be seated. She scolded us about our poor choice.

Tried to patronize the establishment, but the owner was rude, hovering over us while we drank our beer, waiting for us to order something else. (Not saying anything, just staring)

I gave the place the benefit of the doubt and went back a couple of weeks later.

Wasn't sure what to expect when we walked in... I felt like I walked back in time and had my grandmother serve me a hearty soup.

I've been eager to see what's inside for a long time. Once I got in, but the lady kinda shooed me out! Literally!

We were the only people in the restaurant (aside from her friends playing cards), I don't know anyone who's eaten there, I don't understand how they're still open.

The coffee was offered with fair trade options and the food was delicious. We struck up a conversation with the owner who was absolutely wonderful and even took the time in the midst of a lunch rush to exchange anecdotes.

My single visit was charming and wonderful. Going for a stroll with my aunt and looking for a place to grab a bite to eat we noticed Molly's.

There was a tiny crowd of young people there. They couldn't raise their voice. They were kind whispering to each other.

The lady evaluates you as you enter. If you don't pass her smell test, you'll be treated as threat to her territory. I felt like I'm in high school all over again and she is going to call my mom.

Great (old school) food... nothing fancy but very good! Molly (I presume, the owner) was very nice! :-)

Stepping into the cafe was enough to get me excited. There is certainly a charming small business vibe from this cosy establishment. A large array of vegetarian options stood out, but what was even more impressive was how many of the ingredients were actually sourced from the region.
